Today is National Costume Swap Day! Sponsored by the folks at Green Halloween, National Costume Swap Day allows you the opportunity to trade in last year’s outfit for an even cooler one!
Back when I was young, we made all of our own Halloween costumes as my parents didn’t have a ton of money. Now, it is not unusual for folks to plunk down $30 or more for a Halloween costume to only be worn one night.
The great idea about swapping costumes is the fact that most costumes have only been worn once, and are frankly, as good as new! There are swap events being held around the country all this week. You can check out this list to find an event near you! Also, check your local paper for church and group sponsored swap events!
